Ain Shams University is the third oldest Egyptian university, founded in July 1950 under the name of Ibrahim Pasha University. It participated with Cairo University and Alexandria University in achieving the mission of Egyptian universities and containing the increasing demand for higher education, and the university is considered one of the prestigious Arab universities.
