About Gelisim University University
"Gelisim Education, Culture, Health and Social Service Foundation", which took the initiative to establish a vocational school named "Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School" in 2008, started its educational life with the vocational school established by the Ministry of National Education and the Council of Ministers on June 14, 2008.
With the advocacy that higher education is the most important tool for sustainable development, education and training opportunities have been provided with 6 faculties, 2 colleges, 2 vocational schools, 82 undergraduate programs, 61 associate degree regular education programs, 64 associate degree evening education programs, 39 thesis / 38 non-thesis graduate programs within the scope of the Graduate Education Institute and 9 doctoral programs. Istanbul Gelisim University, which cooperates with more than 130 international universities; also motivates associate, undergraduate, master's and doctoral students to become international.
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) offers its students a huge research complex consisting of more than 130 laboratories within its campus in Istanbul, one of the major financial and commercial centers of Turkey and the world. The university also has 20 research centers and 93 student clubs that allow students to participate in social, cultural, scientific and sports activities outside the classroom. The university seeks to enhance cooperation with its external partners within its dynamic and evolving structure.

*PEARSON: The school has also received the PEARSON accreditation. PEARSON is a British institute for international accreditation of educational programs. It especially accredits programs taught in the English language, many of which Gelişim University has.
