About Gelisim University University
Istanbul Gelisim University offers its students a huge research complex consisting of over 130 laboratories in the campus area in Istanbul, one of the financial and commercial centers of Turkey and the world. IGU has 20 research centers and 93 student clubs that allow students to engage in social, cultural, scientific and sports activities outside of the classroom. We will be happy to cooperate with you, our external stakeholders, within the rapidly growing and developing dynamic structure of our university.
World University Rankings: In the 2025 edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Gelisim Universit is placed in the 1001-1200 range.

Gelisim IS 48th among universities in Türkiye and 18th among foundation universities.

Accreditation
AQAS Accreditation: This accreditation started in Germany in 2002 and has more than 5,000 auditing programs worldwide. Universities that meet this accreditation show that the programs there meet European education standards and principles.
*AHPGS: Germany-based Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS) has accredited health and social science programs at the university. *AHPGS: is part of the European Association for Quality Assurance and has accredited more than 1,200 programs across more than 120 countries.
*PEARSON: The school has also received the PEARSON accreditation. PEARSON is a British institute for international accreditation of educational programs. It especially accredits programs taught in the English language, many of which Gelişim University has.
*ABET: Gelişim University has also achieved the ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). The ABET is a US-Based accreditation that covers engineering programs in qualified universities.
