Aydın University was established in 2007 by Professor Mustafa Aydın, a renowned figure in the field of education in Turkey. He founded the university under the BİL Educational Group and has held various positions in educational institutions and NGOs supporting higher education.
It is one of the most prestigious private universities in Turkey, highly preferred by international students in recent years. The university hosts over 5,000 international students among a total of more than 39,000 students enrolled in various colleges and programs. Aydın University is ranked as one of the top Turkish universities both locally and internationally, holding the #1530 position globally in the 2024 CWUR rankings, placing it in the top 7.3% of universities worldwide.
