Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (IZU) is one of the leading international research universities in Turkiye,
with 38 undergraduate programs, 68 master’s programs, and 22 doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.
IZU carries with its a long-established tradition of intellectualism and experience. With its 629.512,48 m2 of
land, the university’s historical campus dates back to 1892 Agricultural and Veterinary College. IZU was
founded in 2010 as a non-profit foundation university which is currently accredited by the Turkish Higher
Education Council and serves over 10000 students.

EPDAD Accreditation: The Faculty of Education has received accreditation from the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (EPDAD). Notably, the Special Education Teaching Program's accreditation has been extended until 2027, and the Turkish Language Teaching Program's accreditation has been extended until 2028.
